The candidate seeking admission to Bachelor of Fine Art (Fine Art and Applied Art) & Bachelor of Design degree courses it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for all papers (MAH-AAC-CET)

Syllabus and marking scheme.

Schedule & Test Design: The MAH-AAC-CET 2022 will consist of three practical papers each paper is of 50 marks and one objective type theory online paper which is of 40 marks.

Detailed Syllabus.

Design Practical.

  • Development of creative expression
    • Development of capability of creative use of basic principles of design
    • Development of awareness and capability of effective use of colors and the hues.
    • Development of aesthetic sense and creation of utility through design.
    • To make available opportunity for use of geometrical equipment and material.
    • Development of skill of use of different color mediums and techniques.

Object Drawing Practical

  • Realistic rendering using pencil of given man-made/ natural objects
    • Drawing should reflect proportion of object.
    • Appropriate placement of object drawing on given size of paper.
    • Render Light differentiation on objects.

Memory Drawing Practical

  • To give opportunity for the development of observation, memory and imagination.
    • To give opportunity for expression 9f latent sentiments and feelings in the mind.
    • Enhancement of capability of proportional sketching of incidents in daily life.
    • Development of vision of creation of perception about closeness and distantness (perspective) in drawing.
    • Awareness about environment of surrounding art.

Objective Type Theory.

  • There will be questions related to art, craft, design, colour and computer graphics/ computer basics in this paper. This question will be objective type. There will be multiple choices of answers to each question. Candidate will have to select a correct answer and to mark it on the OMR sheet provided to him/her.
    • Knowledge of colours (Primary, Secondary etc.)
    • Fundamental of arts (Line, colours, shape etc.)
    • Famous art monuments (Maharashtra, India & of the world)
    • Famous art sculptor and Painters. (Maharashtra, India & of the world.
